Fulbright Korea stands with the Fulbright Program worldwide in solidarity with Black Fulbrighters and others in the pursuit of justice and the protection of human rights. To continue the conversation brought to the forefront by recent events, all Fulbright Program alumni are invited to attend a virtual session on “Black Lives Matter in the Fulbright Community: a conversation with Dr. LaNitra Berger and Fulbright Noir.” Hosted by Fulbright BE/LU/EU, this session will be an opportunity for Fulbrighters to discuss the current state of the Black Lives Matter movement, the role of international education in social justice movements, and recommendations and resources to help black Fulbrighters recognize, address, and navigate individual and structural racism at home and abroad. The session will be held from 3:00-4:30 PM CET on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Please see the flyer below for details and to RSVP.
