SAT
The SAT Test is a college admissions test administered by the College Board in the United States. Every year, approximately 1.5 to 2 million students worldwide take the SAT Test. Since May 2021, the KAEC testing center has been administering SAT Tests.
Starting from March 2023, the International SAT Test will be administered in a digital format. The Digital SAT consists of two sections: Reading and Writing, and Math.

To register for the SAT, please visit the College Board website. Students who wish to take the SAT through KAEC can choose the following testing center.

What to Expect on Test Day
Before test day, make sure you’re familiar with test day rules and procedures. Find out what’s staying the same and what’s changing for digital SAT administrations.
Bluebook™ App and Device Information
In preparation for taking the digital SAT, you’ll need to familiarize yourself with the Bluebook testing application as well as the approved devices and operating system requirements. You’ll also need details on borrowing a device if one isn’t available to you.
Bluebook Testing App
Bluebook must be installed before test day. This digital testing application supports testing on Mac and Windows devices, iPads, and school-managed Chromebooks.
Device Readiness
Device specifications and installation instructions vary by device type and test. Ensure that the device you plan to use on test day meets the required specifications.
Borrowing a Device

Practice and Preparation

Test Structure
- Reading and Writing (64 minutes, 54 questions)
- Break (10 minutes)
- Math (70 minutes, 44 questions)
* College Board offers the Digital SAT starting March 2023, composed of two sections.
Test Day
The check-in time is from 7:45 AM to 8:00 AM, and no entry is allowed after the exam has started.

- Your fully charged testing device with the Bluebook™ application installed (Download Bluebook | Device Readiness | Prohibited Devices)
- Acceptable photo ID.
- Testing in Korea: A valid national ID card from the country, a valid passport from any country
- Testing Outside Your Home Country: A valid passport
- Your up-to-date admission ticket.
- Pencils or pens for scratch work. (Scratch paper will be provided from the testing center)
- An acceptable calculator for use on the Math section of the test (there will be an embedded graphing calculator available to use within Bluebook).
