What I want the world to know about North Korean defector students?
Since 2011, the Korean-American Educational Commission (KAEC, Fulbright Korea) has been teaching North Korean defector students with volunteers through the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program. This is the first year a Fulbright ETA is teaching at the Jangdaehyun School, a special school for North Korean defectors in Busan. In early 2017, KAEC has also organized a Fulbright English Club in Seoul to help prepare North Korean defector students who want to study abroad at U.S. Graduate Schools. The two Fulbright ETA teachers, Becky Brower and Margaret Cleveland from those two programs joined together with their students and fellow Fulbright ETAs to create a video clip with a title “What I want the world to know about North Korea.” An inspiring video conveying very important messages to the world.
